Presenting Team Findings

Ways to present what you have learned:

An important part of the learning process is demonstrating what your team has learned. There are many different ways to demonstrate what you’ve learned in this E-Unit. Each member of the team will be allowed to present in a way in which he or she feels most comfortable. Here are some ideas you might like to about for your presentation:

Oral presentation pointers:

As a part of presenting what you have learned, it is important to think about how a good speaker presents:

· Clearly think about the facts you want to present.

· Organize your facts well.

· Write brief notes on a note card to help you remember ideas.

· Practice your presentation so that you do not rely on your note cards too much.

· Speak in a clear voice, loud enough to be heard by all.

· Make eye contact with the audience throughout your presentation.

Preparing your portfolio:

Wow! You’ve really worked hard to meet your Learning Challenge. Remember the many activities you have completed as you learned about the topic of your E-Unit. Some of the work you have done at school and some at home. You have worked individually and with team members throughout the unit. Think about all of the great information you gathered from Internet sites, books, videos, and other kinds of resources. Your portfolio needs to include most of the items you created. Here are some pointers to help you put together your portfolio:

· Make sure all of your work in the portfolio is neat and easy to read.

· Make sure all work is complete and correct.

· Organize the items into the following groups:
