Right Side of the Road  

The purpose of this activity is to reinforce the concept of driving on the ride side of the road and riding on the right side of the sidewalk.

The student will be given two sheets of black construction paper and a piece of white chalk. They will draw a dotted line down the middle of each paper. The students will be given car and bicycle stickers that are to be placed on the right side of the road.

One of the roads and half of the stickers will be taken home by the student so he can practice the concept with his family. A note (IA-5) will be sent home explaining what is to be done.
