Team Activities
1. Students will play an online memory game about traffic signs then make replicas of five road signs: stop, yield, railroad crossing, do not enter, and crosswalk.
Bicycle Safety Poster and E-Mail Experience
2. Students will e-mail a local police officer with questions about being a safe bicyclist and then design and create posters that depict bicycle safety rules.
3. Students will play two online bicycle safety games. They will then sort real objects as being safe or unsafe for bicycle riding.
4. Students will create an online movie about traffic safety.
5. Students will play the game red light, green light.
6. Create a crosswalk in the classroom and have students practice using the look-both-ways-before-crossing rule.
7. Students will will play a helmet and pad race game.
